Ok. Me and this guy are both home schooled and went to the same school for 5 years. We are in 9th grade now. I just switched programs, but we are still staying in touch. I have had feelings for this guy off and on since we first met. I have been debating for the part year or so if and how I should tell him. I really value our friendship, and I really don’t want to lose it. But I am tired of being ‘just friends’. My friends keep telling me he likes me and that I should just tell him. They even threatened to send him a Really sappy valentines card, but I managed to delete it before they could.
He is fairly shy, and I am Really shy. He has been/is going through a really tough time lately, and he is being really strong. I want to be there for him.
Any help would be appreciated. Oh, and we talk almost daily. Thanks!

Ask him to hang out somewhere cool.. not a date but just hang out.. and when things are going good just kinda mention that you like him and would like to try maybe dating him..Good Luck

Well it all depends on what you think. If you think that it is the right time to tell him, go for it. If not, then take your time. The worst mistake that people make are rushing into things. If you think that you are ready but you dont want to tell him to his face, then you can try to write a note saying something like what would you think about dating me. Then wait for a response that way there isnt as much pressure because no one is on the spot.
when u r talking to him try to just come out and say it. just tell him how u feel and hope for the best. of he doesn’t feel the same way about u… well if he is ur REAL friend he will get over it soon and continue being friends wif u. i hope u 2 work out!

Well I’m in /was in the same kind of situation and i told him how i felt he kinda shied away a little at first then we started to hang out even more then we used to and we weren’t going out because he’s bi and has a boyfriend but he still kisses me goodbye and we snuggle when we watch movies and hug often so I’d tell him how you feel and if he doesn’t want to be your friend anymore he’s not worth it in the first place.
