I have had 3 horse riding lessons and so far I am finding it really hard to squeeze my horse to make it go faster. I already know you should keep your heels down and squeeze with your lower leg but, every time I try it takes a while before it actually starts to trot, I have riden on three different horses and every one is the same. Maybe some tips on how to squeeze harder or a different technique, person with the best and most tips gets picked best answer.

you can nudge them with your heel a little if they dont respond to squeezing
