It seems like every girl in my small town will NOT date a guy unless he has a car. i spent alot of time with this girl last week and i think i gave her the impression that i had a car. she called me today and asked me if i could pick her up and when i told her i didnt have a car she hung up…IM GOING ******* CRAZY. im only 16 and my parents arent giving me money for a car untill i turn eighteen. does anyone have any ideas?.. ****** hate my life right now.

well i’m not gonna lie to you. girls dig guys with cars for obvious reasons. number one being that having your parents take you and your girlfriend everywhere feels juvenile and childish. it’s awkward and a bit embarrassing. especially for you. girls also like that when you have your own car you can be spontaneous and go wherever you want whenever you want to. my suggestion is to get a job (if possible with this economy) and save up some cash for a junker. get your license if you don’t have it already and then problem solved. otherwise you may just have to meet up with her at places rather than deal with the whole parents shuttling you guys around everywhere thing.

I guess because it’s a small town. I don’t know anybody like that! When I was 16 most people didn’t have cars. Even when I went out with my ex at 18 he didn’t have a car or a licence (he got them eventually). One of my friend’s boyfriends doesn’t even have a licence and he’s 23!

If the ***** doesn’t like you enough to look past the whole no car thing then she isn’t worth you’re time. Also don’t make the girl think you have a car!! Don’t worry not all girls only date guys that have cars. Be patient you’ll find her.

If you think so, then wait until you’re 18. If you can’t wait, set up something close by both of you, perhaps something smaller like watching a movie at your place and walk her back to her place, to be more “romantic”.
seriously, any girl that won’t go out with you just because you don’t have a car, is pathetic. you shouldn’t even waste your time on girls like that. it’s the persons attitude that counts.
