I have been a Police Officer for 2 years and I am looking for a career change. Police have a lot of responsibilities and I am curious if it would be looked upon favorably by an employer.

It depends on the business.
I used to work for a major fast food restaurant chain and I wanted to hire a girl who was an apartment manager to become a restaurant manager. They would not allow me to. They said that working in her position usually made a person “harsh” towards the general public because of the type of people she sometimes had to deal with and that she would not represent the company well in dealing with the public. I think a police officer is another type of career that fits into that category.
But, if you want to change, I would say go ahead and try it. Personally, I can’t see any reason why you would not be accepted. Good luck.
