    At the next fill up:

    1) Reset the trip odometer.

    2) Drive.

    3) Fill up. Note how much gas it takes.

    4) Take the amount of fuel you put in your Jeep at the fill up and divide it by the mileage on the trip odometer. Result: miles per gallon.

    5) Reset trip odometer and repeat steps 2 through 4.
