  • You should have two: One before the catalytic convertor and one in the side of the catalytic convertor. Find the one on the catalytic convertor first so you know what you are looking for and then look at the exhaust manifold about 1 to 2 feet from the engine and find the “Pre-Cat or Upstream” O2 sensor. It will be screwed into the exhaust tube and have a wire/plug attached to it.
