In a vacuum the plant would die.
They need carbon dioxide to give out oxygen.
Therefore nothing lives in a vacuum.
you would need 5-10 plants and u would need to water it and allow sunlight in the vacuum.
you are asking how many plants you would need in a closed environment with one human breathing out co2. If you were in a vacuum, you wouldnt be breathing.
I guess we breathe out 1.036 kg of carbon dioxide per day. So you would need enough plants to soak up the carbon in 1.036 kg of co2. It depends on what kinds of plants. Some absorb carbon faster than others. It all depends on how much light the plant receives and its growth characteristics.
