I slipped in the store because of negligence on their part my knee hurts now broke my glasses.

  • more than half of “slip and fall” claims are BS. i love how u made sure u added “because of their negligence” which discount lawyer taught you that? how did u break your glasses? faceplanted in the floor while u were running full speed to get a gallon of milk? quit trying to make a quick buck. get a job

  • There is no cookie cutter answer for this question. The store’s claims department is going to do an investigation and determine if YOU held any negligence for the fall too… like if there were wet floor signs, etc. The rest of it is going to hinge on what your actual injuries were… if your knee simply ‘hurts”, like it’s just bruised… then probably not very much. And as for your glasses, it will depend on what they cost and how old they are – you will probably get the depreciated value.

  • You can get as much as your claim is worth. A boo boo and broken glasses are not going to keep you in pop tarts your whole life. You’ll probably get enough to pay for new glasses and a visit to your doctor. That’s if they even agree that they were negligent, which they probably weren’t.
