How much would an engine swap cost for my jeep?

I have a 1991 YJ with a 2.5 liter engine, I want to swap it out with a 1991 4.0 engine. The engine will cost 8. bucks. I am not sure how much its gona cost and if im gone need to weld brackets and mounts and all that so if someone could help me out i would appreciate it thanks.

  • Along with welding brackets, and mounts, you will need stronger springs, a transmission and transfer case, starter, alternator, etc.

    Still want to do it? Find a YJ with a 4.0 litre. It will be far cheaper.
