You would need to have a lot of experience.
Me, i had gained my experience from gathering lots of spare parts from dvd’s printers
computers cpu and lots of stuffs that is all ready broken,
make sure to get all that you need so that when your on the project making, it will be easy for you to have the things that you need.
another is try to fix damaged mp4, or damaged appliances, this could give you experience in basic electrical or electronics engineering.
You will also need lots of tools for that, especially soldering iron!
    goodluck to you,
i hope you could become one of us

do 4 years tertiary schooling or buy a kit. Once you’ve built and flown a few then look perhaps at learning the maths needed to design your own. Fluisd mechanics works a bit differently at the scale of models – hence my suggestion find out what already works before you try & DIY

There are kits available online and, probably, at your local hobby store. I suggest you go to your local hobby store. They offer basic models (which will be easy to fly) and more advanced models (go faster, more manuverably, kits are more expensive, more complicated to build, etc) but I suggest you start with a starter model because your are very likely to crash and have to do some repairs.

If there is a local club for RC in your area (and the local hobby store is likely to know), you might be able to find a group that could provide a lot of help and advice. If nothing else, a local club would give you a chance to see people flying RC models.
