Give them lots of love and attention, just like a younger cat.
If their favorite bed or couch is too high to jump on get a step stool.
Make sure to clip their claws so they don’t get stuck in things.
Also they might need a different cat food meant for senior cats.

older cats need food for older cats – find one for senior cats but make sure its right for your cat, many are weight reduction formulas but not all older cats are fat – switch foods slowly
keep the cat warmer – older cats have more pains and problems with the cold
he/she may need more canned food because its harder to eat the dry… might need to have the teeth checked/cleaned too
also note they meow a lot more
