There’s a kid on my basketball team who doesn’t pass at all, he always looks to shot. He yells at us to pass and then when we yell at him to pass he only passes to his best friend, so it’s basically 2 on 5. His dad is the coach so nothing’s stopping him from hogging! How do I fix this!

stop at mid court and just let the 2 of them play
or get as a group and refuse to play
I know how you feel. I HATE ball hogs, they always think they are so good and never pass, but they don’t know that a true star plays WITH the team. What me and my friends did, was just stop passing to him. Eventually he had a go at us and we stood our ground saying “Now the shoe’s on the other foot”.
In your situation I think you should have a sit down with the coach and tell him, if nothing changes, then you and the others he doesn’t pass to might aswell just ignore them and play with just you 3 guys.

What a douche. Get the rest of the team to either have a talk with him, or get the rest of the team to agree to only pass to each other. Better 3 on 5 than 2 on 5.
Don’t pass him the ball and also let him play 2 on 5 in offense if he gets the ball he shouldn’t be heisting the ball like that its a team sport .
talk to your coach…. your coach should run the play
if the coach allows it, means the kid that ball hog have
the best chance to score points on your team.
if not, then the coach should do something about it…..
Talk to him and the coach. It is very unfair for the other players. If he doesn’t pass to you, then you shouldn’t pass to him. Teach him a lesson and how to pass

ignore him for a little bit and then when he complains at you just say “now you know how it feels”, also are you in some summer league or something? basketball season is way over…
