Ok i have a 2wire pc card wireless adapter and I need to install the driver. i went to 2wire.com and saved the 32 bit driver now what do I do.

If your card is already installed, then you can just run the driver. Most likely it’s an installer that runs, detects the card, and installs itself.
Sometime though, the driver isn’t and actual installer. Sometimes it’s the actual driver files, or an extractor that will extract the driver files.
When this is the case, you need to open the device manager. To get to it open the start menu. Click on My Computer (or Computer for vista) with the right mouse button. A list will pop up, click on properties. In Vista it will say device manager on the left. Click on that. In XP you will first click on the hardware tab, then device manager.
Once you’re in the device manager you will see the wireless card listed with either a yellow ?, or !. It might have the 2wire name, or it just might be listed as a network adapter. Click on this with the right mouse button and hit update driver. Then Choose browse for driver (not the automatic one). Find where you downloaded the driver to (or extracted the files to) and choose it.
This should then install the driver for you.
