Human evolution… Punctuated equilibrium or gradualism?

Is human evolution considered punctuated equilibrium or gradualism, on a macroscopic level?

At least from the Homo period, around when Homo habilis to Homo ergaster came about…

From the cranial space, we can see that there’s a huge leap in cranial space, but i highly doubt if its punctuated because there’s stuff like genetic drift happening..?

  • The supposed evidence for human evolution is open to wildly different interpretations, so it is obviously not clear at all, contrary to the propaganda

  • Gradualism. There were no striking differences from one stage to the next once genus Homo appeared.

Punctuated equilibria, as Gould and Eldredge described, is based on the findings of very different characteristics (I think Gould was looking at trilobite eyes at the time) in species from the same time period while the ancestors and descendants remained stable for ages. Nothing like that is seen in our past. Cranial capacity is a good example – the capacity roughly doubled throughout the time of Homo erectus but hardly changed at all between H. erectus and H. sapiens.

  • Um, that is no longer a “true or false” query, the best way you phrased it… As for the question… There is no such thing as “micro” and “macro” evolution. There’s simply evolution. Evolution is an found fact. Creationists make up those phrases to take a look at “permit” what they call “micro” evolution, however deny what they call “macro” evolution. It is ridiculous. That role is like admitting that a human can take a single step, however can not walk down the avenue to the shop.
