I accidentally went $1.75 negative in my “High School Checking Account.” I thought I had just a couple more dollars but I didn’t. This payment was made two days ago if that makes any difference? How much will the fee be, and will the cost increase as days go on? Thanks.

Banks do not charge unless you go more than $5 in the negative.
You made it by the skin on your teeth.
This was part of those new regulations passed a couple of years ago.
You will eventually get bitten.
Try to keep at least $4 as a minimum balance in your account at all times.
