I am a casual employee and use my personal car for work. I had a car accident, it is my fault.?

The company was not driving your car. You were.

The involved insurance companies are the only ones who can, do and will determine fault. Your company has no say in determining fault. Nobody else does either.

Of course it’s not their responsibility. It’s not their car, and they weren’t driving. You are fully responsible for this.

First off you have to be carefull. 2ndly it depends on the situation. 3. You are the one who is driving not them. 4. To me seem that it is your fault. You wouldt even ask questions if you were guilty

You may or may not be responsible for the cause of the accident, that will depend on the police investigation to decide what or who caused the accident to happen. You may or may not be entitled to “Workman’s Compensation” depending on the laws in your state, and your job description. Are you on the company’s payroll or do you just do freelance work for them on occasion as a “part time” employee? Do you perform work duties for other companies? These are questions that may have to be answered by a attorney if damages or injury was very bad.

Was your car used for the company at the time. Were you going to a meeting for your company. I think what you want to know is the company responisable to pay your excess. Really depends what you were doing at the time.
