  • Sooner or later all of us will reach the point of no return. But this may not be your case right now, I think there is hope for you. And whatever happens, rest assured that God has not forgotten you. If nothing else helps try to learn more about healthful living and natural treatments. The laws of health, so often broken, have in themselves power to heal. I remember Seventh-day Adventists are known for healthy living, why not try to contact them?

  • 1) You don’t know that Jesus is “ignoring” your prayer.

    2) You appear to be assuming that the Bible promises that you will always received the answer to prayer that you seek. Consider the Apostle Paul’s prayer for healing — and why God chose to respond to his prayers NOT by healing.

    3) While asking others for an answer to the why is understandable, keep in mind that the Bible never states that ANYONE will be able to answer for God in explaining why he does or doesn’t do some particular thing.

God does not obey our every demand.

  • Did Jesus make you ill? No. Then it’s not his problem to heal you. The odds are overwhelming that you are sick with something that is completely man-made (toxic environment, diet, lack of proper nutrition, etc.). Why would Jesus step in and cure you when we’re making people sick?

  • I don’t know. Are you a Christian washed in the blood of Jesus unto salvation? Are you living in His will? Do you pray believing that He can and will heal you? Maybe he refuses to heal you because He wants you to be with Him? I really don’t know.

There are some who teach that healing is promised to the Christian in this life because of Calvary. This is based on a faulty interpretation of Is. 53:5, “with his stripes we are healed.” The primary meaning of this passage is that we are healed from sin through Christ’s death. This is what 1 Pe. 2:24 says. “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” The Apostle Peter applies Is. 53:5 to salvation from sin.

God did not always heal, even in the first century. Timothy was not healed. “Drink no longer water, but use a little wine for thy stomach’s sake and thine often infirmities” (1 Ti. 5:23). Trophimus was not healed (2 Ti. 4:20). Paul was not healed (2 Co. 12:7-10). In 2 Cor. 12:8-10 we read that the Apostle Paul was afflicted with some sort of infirmity. We are not told the exact nature of Paul’s problem, but the word translated “infirmities” in 2 Co. 12:9,10 is also translated “weakness” (v. 9), “sickness” (Mt. 8:17; Jn. 11:4), and “disease” (Ac. 28:9). Three times the faithful Apostle asked God to take away this problem, but the Bible says God refused to do so. He was told that this infirmity was something God wanted him to have FOR HIS SPIRITUAL WELLBEING. Upon learning this, Paul bowed to God’s will. This is a perfect example for Christians today. We should pray for healing and release from trials, but when God does not heal, we must bow to His will and accept that sickness or trial as something from the hand of God. This is not lack of faith; it is obedience to the sovereignty of God.

  • It’s possible that you may not have enough faith for Him to heal you. You need to completely trust him and believe He will heal you. It IS God’s will to heal you.

  • There are spiritual lessons that can only be learned through suffering.

Remember… Jesus fed people and they got hungry again. He healed people and they got sick again and eventually died.

It’s life. We all suffer sometimes.

  • Well, first off, you need to pray to Jehovah, through His son, Jesus Christ. Second, I promise you that, if you remain faithful, you will be healed. Even if you die, it will only be temporary.

  • read Isaiah 57

it’s not up to you it’s up to God.

    Also thessalonians chapter 5

I believe verse 18 – says to be content in ALL circumstances

  • Because Jesus is not God and can do nothing for you. Maybe try asking God, your Creator and he may help you. Peace be unto you.

  • He’s not ignoring your prayer. He’s taking your prayer to God, His father.
Either God has answered “No” or “Not yet”.
Now here’s the trick; are you praying for your will be done, or God’s?

  • if jesus did everything we asked him

  • You’ll need to ask Him.
