I believe that it’s not set in stone. Plenty of sides have blown bigger leads than the one that Leeds currently hold. Best and most spectacular example I can think of is Dalglish’s Blackburn in 1991/1992 in the old Second Division. I believe they had a ten point lead in February, only to finish sixth and win promotion through the play-offs. After the disappointments of the last five years, surely cautious optimism would be more appropriate?
I’ll go even further than that. In 2 or 3 seasons I believe Leeds will be back in the premier league
Hope so!
They deserve to play in a higher league after all the off field problems!
Good luck!
I agree. They have fire-power, strength in depth and tremendous support. They can put Jermaine Beckford on the bench and still win 2-0.
I hope they do!
