So yesterday my job gave us a break and i went across the street to the coner store to buy chips and stuff and I didn’t want to pay for this grapefruit juice so I put it in my bag the ladygave me for my chips. Right when i was leaving she said “honey come here” and checked my bag and said you didn’t pay for this ! My heart dropped ! I tried to lie an tell her I did but she wasent going for it. She made my pay the 1.75 it was. I know it wasent worth it idk why I did it. She told me shed me watching me. I thought I was going to get arrested . I’m scared that she might tell my Job or maybe someone in the store might tell ! This is a summer job and I really need it ! I hope they don’t find out because I can’t get fired ! Up until now I’m still scared because 3 people from my job were inside and I hope they don’t tell or tell there friends then word gets around. I’m only a teenager and this is my summer job ! Worst of all the I basically work for this police organization . After the break I went back to work and thought at any minute the lady was going to come across the street and tell on me !!!! I really hope no one talks about it because I need this money for things for school! HELP !!!!

if she didn’t call the cops or anything there i don’t think your going to get in trouble. the lady probably saw your age and cut you a break and you did pay for it. i think your fine
Dont panic, you’ll be fine. Im sure she seen that you we’re afraid too…lol. Just make sure you learned your lesson and dont try that again. If she was going to tell she would have followed you and said something to someone and or called the police…but she didnt. She just confronted you and made you pay for it. If you tried to run or if you cursed at her and or acted a FOOL then THATS when she would have went beyond and tried to make you pay for what you’ve done. But yes she WILL watch you from now on but thats about all maybe.
