Unless, you get any other suggestions, I’d say the best thing would be to just take something from Greg Fishman’s Jazz Saxophone Duets book and transpose one of the parts for clarinet (transpose up a 4th or down a 5th; for example, if the sax part is in C, the clarinet part should be in F).
Incidentally, did you ever notice that a low C on the alto and a low F on the clarinet not only sound the same, but are fingered the same? Cool, no?
