By uplifting I do not want anti-Christian themes, violent content, sexual content nor a lot of bad language. There is metal like that though it is rare in death metal. If you want to suggest Christian metal please make sure it isn’t worshipping Jesus because I do not believe he is God. A good song with feelings of hope is what I am looking for, to be basic.
I like all types of music, except for rap and modern pop. Growls are awesome, too. (Still trying to perfect my growls.)
As a side request, I am trying to get a friend to respect growls because she says she likes “soft metal.” She doesn’t like screaming. Any songs to get her into metal?
