i have DSL internet and i distribute in 3 computer. but there is some is using my internet so. i want create username and password for my internet user . so only those who have password can connect then internet pls help me

connect to router using Ethernet cable
and LOG IN
do this in IE. enter 192.168.?.?(you have to find out)
find details in Make Model of router MANUAL
enable MAC Address filtering
enter your wireless pc’s into MAC Address table.
Is the internet connection a Wireless or cable (ethernet). If its a wireless network you can activate the wifi passkey to wpa or wpa2 and just dont provide other computer users with the access key. Or if its an ethernet network connection open your browser and type (usually) 192.168.1.1 and press enter. A login dialog box will appear with a username and password box. Username is usually adim and password is admin depending with the dsl modem type. Then you can visit the settings to delete or restrict the computers that can use the network. NB if the ip address 192.168.1.1 does not work, open command prompt (start > then click run and type cmd) in cmd type ipconfig and a detail of your network connection comes up. copy down the default gateway IP Address and use that on the browser.
You can create Limited User accounts, or even Guest accounts. You can just ban those accounts to use internet for good, while your account is Administrator type with a password…
