I’m in highschool and i have two classes with this girl named meloney and me and her are freinds but not best freinds and well like the second week of school she started going out with this guy who is a junior and i thought he was cute but i never talked to him well the 3rd week of school i changed one of my classes and her bf ended up being in that class with me, and we started to talk all the time, and he gives me hugs all the time and always calls/texts me, and one day i told him i like him, and he didnt say it back but said i was pretty, and then three days later told me he liked me but he wont break up with his girlfriend.. should i just back off or what? i dont know what to do.. because i really like him and i want him

Alright hun, don’t even put yourself in a bad position. If he has a girlfriend he is taken, that’s it! Now you could get him to cheat on his girlfriend with you in hopes he chooses you over his girlfriend .. but there’s such a thing as karma and I guarantee he will do it right back to you. What you should do is not give him all your time. Talk to other guys. Trust me you benefit from this! For one, you wont get too attached to a guy who has a girlfriend(which makes us more attracted because that means we can’t have him!), you get to meet other guys who are available, and it gets him jealous. If he really likes you and hates seeing you with another guy, he’ll realize he likes you more than his current girlfriend. With guys, they don’t realize how much they like someone until another guy comes into the picture. If it’s meant to be it’ll happen. Don’t be one of those girls that get hurt because they fell for a guy that was already taken.
