    The RRHOF is just another corporate grab of what is began as the music of rebellion. Rock and roll does not need a hall of fame any more than building custodians need a hall of fame. Both working class; both necessary for different reasons.

    Enough great names have been soiled by their inclusion into that money-sucking monolith set up by super groupie Jaan Wenner. Deep Purple deserves better. I remember hearing “Lazy” for the first time on the radio. That and their other songs are a hall of fame all by themselves.
