  • Say:
I don’t see color. I judge people by the content of their character.

    PS:
Don’t even think of asking him about whose skin color he has in mind – he’s doing what’s called “race-baiting”.
It’s extremely offensive to bring up skin color and you’ll be branded racist for the rest of your days!!!!.
  • Just ask him who is he drawing, or what color would that be, there is because in most boxes of colored pencils and crayolas they have one labeled flesh, so my answer would be, you mean the flesh one, if he says anything, its printed right on it “Flesh”. It reminds me of when I was teaching school and two kids, one being black were arguing over being first, and smart mouth me said oh here’s how we will work it out and started the rhyme, eeny, meeny, miny, moe, and hopefully you know the rest, I had to be quick and say, catch a friend by his toe. Its a very bad thing to realize we are raised this way and think nothing about it, but from that day on I became very aware of the world we live in and how to cope with such things. Being honest with people can make a big difference, its not like your friend doesn’t know he is black, no different than you know you are white.

  • Ask ‘who’s skin colour, yours or mine?’

This is if you’re not black. If you’re both black it’s safe to presume a black pencil is wanted.

  • Pass the skin coloured pencil….

  • he probably means his own skin color.
