If I have no credit history, how can unpaid medical bills hurt me?

I don’t have a job or a credit card or anything. So exactly what would happen if I don’t pay a medical bill?

Also, the abiltiy to rent, increase required deposits for utilities, cell phones, etc. Employers often check credit reports. It will even impact your car insurance rates.
