If you were interested in someone then found out they had no friends…?

If the number of people this person is friends with is enough to turn you off of them then your interest probably wasn’t that genuine to begin with (general you of course). As others have pointed out there may be a very good reason they don’t have any friends. Maybe they moved recently and don’t make friends easily. Maybe they had a good friend who moved away or something else happened to them. Maybe they just prefer to be left alone and haven’t found anyone they really enjoy hanging out with yet.

The only thing that would turn me off is if they had no friends because of some blaring personality flaw like they were a complete and unlikable jerk, but if that were the case I either wouldn’t like them to begin with or it’s something you may not be able to find out about until you get to know them better.

You certainly need to get to know them better. I went out with a guy who had no friends and as the months passed, it slowly revealed that he struggled with all his social interactions and he didn’t appreciate that I needed time with my friends (he couldn’t relate to it). So yes, it could work, but make sure he appreciates your need for friends.

I would be even more interested! An adult with NO friends at all? There must be quite a few stories behind that. There are thousands of reasons a person might have few to no friends. I would get to know this person before you jump to any conclusions. Good luck!

Why would I judge someone for not having friends? In fact, I’d be more interested in them. By the way, friends don’t depict who or what you are. I’m a natural loner and never cared to have friends. Unfortunately, I gained some.

Doesn’t that make them more intriguing?
I think it makes them seem more mysterious and unknowable.

I would still like them even if they had no friends because that part doesn’t matter to you

It would mean I wouldn’t have to share with anyone.
