Ok, im a college student. I met this cute guy and he is driving me crazy. I know for sure that i like him but i don’t know how to tell him. He is our peer advisor so i usually go to his room if i have questions or when i need anything. Everytime i see him i just melt and i can’t even look him in the eye. I know he can tell that i’m giving off some vibe but how do i know if he’s into me as well. I don’t think i’m ready to be rejected that’s why i’m scared to open up to him. I don’t even know if he likes the same sex. Please help…anyone whos’ been through this or anything similar. I’ve never felt this way for anybody in my life…

If he’s your peer adviser, he can’t date you anyway. So, get to know him and if the signs are all a go, then go for it once his working situation is different.
Sample dialog (well, monolog really):
“Hey, I’ve got another problem I need to talk to you about. I’ve got a major crush on you. I’ve never felt this way for anybody in my life! So I need to ask if you’re gay, and after I don’t have you for a peer advisor, I could maybe come on to you then, or if I should just give up right now.”
If you’re rejected, you’ll survive. If he tells you that you’re going to have to switch to another peer advisor, you’ll survive (esp. if that means you can start dating). If you never risk rejection, you cannot get all the places you’ll want to be in life, so grow yourself a pair of balls and JUMP IN!
