When I’ve asked questions on here before or when I’ve talked to some gentiles in person they often criticize my complete love for my Jewish faith and how my husband and I raise our kids Orthodox. I can’t believe some people think that raising our kids with our religion that we’ve kept alive all these generations and teaching them to be proud of their Jewish heritage and want to carry it on and perpetuate it is some kind of abuse. Our religion and heritage is beautiful and teaches our children morals and values and gives them a big sense of identity and meaning in their lives. I think it would be a much greater error to raise your children to believe in nothing and have no sense of who they are or where they come from. Why do people feel the need to criticize? Why can’t they just mind their own business if they don’t like how someone else lives and raise their own kids however they want?
