I want to buy a Tablet from abroad and have it sent to me. But the Customs would charge an import duty on that. So I just want to know the rate that they will charge so I can decide whether it is cheaper to buy it abroad or here in Sri Lanka.

It’s around 30% maximum for electronic items. Sometimes if the weight is too low they won’t stop the package at all. But in your case it would be 25-30%
