  • Calirginia yup they like have no laws

  • As long at it is not a mountain lion, you can have one in Nevada. City regulations might be more strict in a given city on having the animal in city limits, but go to the rural areas and you can get one with out a license. Be sure to check both state, county and city laws.

  • You would have to get a master’s degree or doctorate degree in zoology and spend years training with experienced handlers. You would then have to save up thousands of dollars to get the required USDA permit and to build a suitable, safe enclosure. Then, if you actually get one, it won’t really be a pet. It will be a large, wild predator that you keep in a box. You won’t be able to play with it or pet it.

Untrained people keeping dangerous exotic pets only ends in disaster. You may not have any issues at all for years, until one day, you drop your guard for half a second, or you inadvertently do something to make the animal mad, and it lashes out. You, your family and your neighbors will be seriously injured or killed and the animal will be destroyed. The guilt for that animals’ death falls squarely on the shoulders of the person who put that animal in that situation to begin with.

Be prepared to pay a ton of money for homeowner’s insurance (if you could even get a company to cover you), food, and medical care (again, if you can even find a private vet that would treat a lion). These animals require very specific diets, habitats, and safety precautions. They are horrible pets, and it’s not fair to the animal, your family or your neighbors. Leave lions in zoos and in the wild.

  • Las Vegas with a distinctive permit and North Carolina does not require whatever however the proper capabilities, shelter and weight loss program for the animal. Look Up State legal guidelines on exceptional Pets on Google.

  • You cannot own a lion as a pet in any state in the U.S. However, you can get various degrees and certificates and work with them professionally. I do not agree with these laws, however, as I have always wanted my own pet hyena. Did you know, hyenas are more closely related to sloths than they are to dogs? Just a little fun fact, I’d share with you 🙂

  • None,,,zoos and wildlife refuges only.
