No, a . is not a bad college GPA. This isn’t high school with all the stupid inflated GPAs. It is close to the cutoff for some grad school programs though, so if you plan on attending graduate school you need to keep that gpa up around a ..
It depends what you mean by “bad”. For grad school you usually need at least a . average. For med school you usually need at least a . average. To get kicked out you usually need less than a . average.
