is it fun to swim in jeans?

First of all, jeans are not comfortable to swim in. I’ve tried it and it stunk. (It was skinny jeans, but I bet baggy wouldn’t work as well).

Second, why wast a nice pair of jeans?

It depends on your definition of fun.

I used to canoe and because the the fibreglass bits in the canoes I used to wear jeans while canoeing.

Most canoe sessions end up as swimming sessions at some point.

I found a reasonable tight fitting pair of jeans was fine to swim in.

Wearing jeans was common at the time in the canoe club.

I also have done some Scuba Diving and in warm water where there is a sharp bottom often divers wear jeans.

Make sure you try somewhere you can stand up first time.

Go and have some fun.

Online, I have become acquainted with lots of guys who do this. I have several sites that I visit. Of course, I have worn my jeans in my pool many times–usually with boxers and a Polo shirt. All of the guys I have encountered this way rave about doing it. Some wear their underwear and some don’t.

Doing so is a variation from the “norm.” But, who wants to be “normal?”
