Is it ok to be outboxed the first time you spar in the boxing ring?

During my first time I for some odd reason started tiring out in a couple of minutes and took a lot of jabs to the head and and told my trainers about this and they said it’s because I was physically ready but mentally I was lost which is how I tired out within the first couple of minutes but my trainers believe I can do much better if I wasn’t mentally nervous.

The FIRST time you learn anything you’re not gonna be that good at it. Boxing takes lots and lots of practice. The first time I stepped in the ring to spar I was literally knocked out on my feet after catching a right hand, but I got better the more I practiced. Everything has a learning curve, driving, playing a guitar, boxing, you name it, but just keep at it, you’ll get better with time and focus.

Sparing is learning how to box.
It takes a long time to get the hang of it.
Practice is how you learn and having someone hit you while you try to hit them is the only way to learn to fight.
Sparing is not a contest you do not win any prizes for winning a sparring session.
Remember what went wrong and what worked and try to correct your mistakes.
