Is it okay if your gyno gets an erection during examination?

My new young gyno got an erection during examination. He acted cool, definitely wasn’t flirty or something, just got an erection.

Is that okay or should I change my doctor?

****

He couldn’t help it. Men can’t control that. The only thing he could control was his own reaction and it sounds like that was okay. So I would not report him.

You don’t know what was going on in his mind… maybe something reminded him of having sex with his wife or something. He’s young and inexperienced… we all have to learn.

If it makes you uncomfortable, find another doctor. But if you don’t, and it doesn’t happen again, then I don’t see anything wrong with it.

These idiots saying report him are idiots. You can’t report someone for getting an erection. He found you attractive and isn’t experienced enough to maintain his composure. Next time you go, if it happens again, you could switch (if it makes you uncomfortable–I can see why it would). Or you could never go again.

(btw, how do we know that female doctors don’t get wet examining a hot guy)

You must have a nice looking vulva . Congatulations!

Don’t report an erection . A man can’t control it like moving his arm or something . maybe don’t look at his crotch when he’s examining you or switch doctors . It’s not a big deal really .

I agree with a few others here, please don’t report him, he probably did nothing wrong, he’s human, it was a normal biological response, men are visually stimulated by what they see.

If you are uncomfortable you can always change doctors, but for me, i would give him a chance, as long as he is not flirting or doing anything else out of line then you know he is just doing his job. Hope that helps you a little.

Don’t be ridiculous. Guys cant control an erection. His erection didn’t ask you out on a date did it? Hey sophia do you know what a nasty job thats gotta be. I mean there is some funky fish out there. But if you dont feel comfortable change doc’s.

just change doctors.. preferrably to a female one. don’t report him though, he’s a man, he’s new to the profession.. he’s allowed to slip up at least once in a while. im sure if it happens again someone else will report him.

Change Doctors. And report him.

if there was no wrong intentions there, why would you report him? everyone is human and that is what happens. you said your self that was not flirty or anything. why dont you look at it this way, he thinks your hot and your cookie looks good…

cant people take things as a compliment more and less as an insult
