Is it safe for my cat to be outside nonstop in this heat?

My cat has been outside for the past two weeks nonstop except for when he runs in for a quick feeding. For the most part he lounges on the deck and never shows any interest in coming inside.

I just need to know if it is safe for him to be out all the time in this 1+ weather or if I should force him to stay inside.

cats do love the heat and laying in the sunlight but all day in 1+ degree weather maybe not so let it enjoy it self for a time but get him in for a hour every so often.

I live in Indiana and we are having 1 degree highs heat index even higher with humidity. I don’t have a cat but i do have a mini Rex rabbit with a hutch a fenced in yard for him to play. I have been bringing him inside every day at noon and he goes back out about 7 pm. So I would try to get the cat to come in when it gets really hot he could have a heat stroke.

As long as he has plenty of place to get in the shade and has fresh clean water outside he should be fine. If he has white or pale colour fur on ears then you should put a high factor child suncream on him at least once a day as they can get sunburnt and get skin cancer.

No that is not very safe. Keep him inside most of the day and let him outside a little. Make sure you give him a lot of water!
