Is it weird to obsess over ending sex and labor slavery?

I am obsessed with ending sex slavery and human trafficking. Like I post things online like how people do for like cancer awareness, but its usually about prostitution and slavery. I feel like it looks like I’m obsessed with sex and stuff, but I’m not! I just feel so bad that these people are lured or forced into a life no one would ever want! I mean, I can’t imagine being forced to be submissive to like 15 people a day and be treated like a rag doll!
I feel like people think I’m weird for saying things about it, but I mean its just as important as clean water, education, or cancer!
What do you think? Is it weird to obsess over it?

Prostitution isn’t that big of a deal, first of all, if it’s with consent. If a woman simply needs/wants money and isn’t concerned with morals then it’s up to her to decide what to do with her own body. But that’s actually not a bad thing to obsess over ending slavery, because you could have just found your purpose in life. You can become a figure of authority in the police or an agency and help stop things like that from happening. It’s not weird to obsess over it, it’s better than obsessing over stupid crap like facebook or justin bieber.

I feel like you. It’s hard to imagine these girls, kidnapped or some are even sold into prostitution by their parents. I met a woman who tries to free them in India. She says it’s so hard, no one wants anything to do with them after they have been used and abused and they can’t go home – their parents have disowned them and their neighbours and former friends shun them. So incredibly sad.
