Some California cities have brutal traffic and some are calm as a cemetary. I’ve been on Sepulvida Drive in Los Angeles when the traffic was flying 65 MPH. If you wind up in Alameda, the speed limit is 25 mph on all but the street that leaves town. San Francisco is full of hills, one way streets, insane bicyclists and guys obsessed with your butt. Berkeley- forget it. Just forget it. The streets are like a video game. Oh, the road test is the same all over California, but the towns aren’t. It isn’t all that hard if you can drive at all.

They are probably about the same. I used to live in a different state. I had my temp before I moved to my current state. If I remember correctly the tests are probably about the same. They want to quiz you on your knowledge of the road so not much is different.
