Is there anything i can buy over the counter for fertility?

I haven’t ovulated since Jan. and we ( my husband & I ) want a baby so badly. Is there anything over the counter I can buy to help with ovulation or do I have to get a prescription from my doctor?

Update:

I have PCOS, I haven’t had a period ( no ovulation ) since January. When I first missed my eriod in Feb I went to the doctor thinking I was pregnant, but as it turned out I hadn’t ovulated, at least this is what the good Doc. told me.

  • What do you mean you havent ovulated? I assume you mean you havent had a period? If youre having a period, youre ovulating ( unless a doctor tells you otherwise!)

You should go into the doctor to be sure nothings wrong. You dont HAVE to get on fertility medicine, which is NOT available without a prescription. You may just need to focus on getting healthier!

Start exercising, eat more greens, less salt. Take prenatal vitamins NOW, before conception to prepare your body. Consider taking fish oils as they do good things all around. 🙂

  • You should got to a doctor, who would probably recommend you to a specialist. Anything prescribed by a doctor would be much more effective than something over the counter.

  • You need to go to your doctor who can refer you to a specialist. How do you know you’ve not ovulated? Only official tests can determine if there is a fertility problem or not
