If you don’t stop and die, it is your fault, if you kill people while evading police that is murder.

This is completely outrageous, and shows that crime pays, at least in this instance for the criminal’s family.

The UK are exceedingly generous. In America, the police would have sent a bill to his family. They would want to be reimbursed for the time they spent chasing the car thief.

The police were not capable of driving at that speed, they had been told to stand down an action they refused to do.

They are lucky they are not on manslaughter charges.

EDIT – joallno – I thought manslaughter charges and a few years in prison might have been appropriate if a little harsh for these police officers who failed to abort when told to by other police officers.

Yet you appear to be advocating bypassing the due process of charging these police officers for recklessness, allowing them to defend their actions in a court of law and going straight to the execution stage by firing squad for refusing to obey their colleagues.
