Yesterday Me and My friends were smoking weed at a park. While we were smoking a cop rolls up to us and I threw away the bowl and dumped some weed out of the bag. He grabs my first friend and questions him and he lies to him. Next he questions me and I tell him the truth and I show him where the weed is and the bowl. But I get arrested for minor possession of drugs and the two people that lied to him get an ordinance violation. Also while I got arrested he said he was going to tell me my rights, but he never did. After I got arrested I went to the station and got proccessed and now I have a court date. Do I have a case or anything and whats the punishment for the crime if I am convicted?
Ohh Also this happened in Radnor, PA
I need the help because after 18 years of a clean slate now I have this that is going to make me regret the rest of my life.

Contrary to popular belief the police DO NOT need to read you a Miranda warning just because you were arrested. The Miranda warning only HAS to be read before you are questioned/interrogated AFTER you are arrested.
Since you told him everything he needed BEFORE you were arrested you have nothing you can fight in court.
I don’t know the specific punishment because I’m not familiar with PA laws.
