My hair is very dark brown, and I bought the L’Oreal excellence hicolor in sandstone blonde, I haven’t found many reviews on the colour and I’m hoping to dye my hair with it tomorrow. I understand that it won’t go that colour but I’m aiming for a light brown. Has anyone had any experiences with the dye??

The L’Oreal HiColor is a professional use product (used in salons) so that is probably why there isn’t too many reviews for it online.
It can provide a good level of lift to the hair (3-4 shades). If you are using it on virgin (uncoloured) hair, then you can expect a good dark golden blonde/strawberry blonde result by using a 20% developer.
If you are using it on dyed dark hair, the result could come out more brassy so I would recommend using a toner or toning silver shampoo for the first few washes to help tone it down.
The L’Oreal HiColor tints can give you a really good result but you must mix it correctly and use a good quality developer to get the best result.
