The trackpad’s click function on my 2011 MacBook Air doesn’t seem to work. The tap function works fine, however whenever I push down on the left or right click sides the trackpad is unresponsive, it does not make a click sound and nor does it do anything. However I push down really hard it does respond, without the click sound. It almost seems like the trackpad is stuck, I am nowhere near an apple store, so the genius bar doesn’t seem to be an option. Is there anything I can do? Thanks

Sounds as if the switches under the track pad for left and right functions are worn out and require replacing.
Can you order the Genius Bar online?
