The RPM meter goes to zero and stops working then the car will either turn off or I will be able to continue driving with it off. I’m not sure whether it has to do with my amplifier and sub woofers or what. Once the car dies I pull over to the side of the road and wait a minute or so and turn it back on again. Please help.

This is a good place to start your diagnosis.
Just remember to always test any suspect components and never replace anything based on the indications of a code reader or scanner.
All cleaning and test procedures are available on the internet.
First clean all suspect components, then test them.
If they fail the test replace only those that do fail.
