About three days ago my 15 month old tortoishell cat was sick, she just vomited her food up and this happened twice. I had seen her chewing on the grass on our lawn so i assumed it was a hairball problem. She slept all afternoon that day and has been full of life since then, eating her food quite normally. then today when I got home my husband said she had been sick in the garden, just food vomit, but after that she was sick twice with a sort of clear foamy vomit. It doesn’t smell bad or anything and she has been playing around since. She otherwise seems o.k. If this continues over the weekend I will take her to the vet but is this a normal thing for a cat. She is a rescue cat and to be honest our vet is very expensive and, not making excuses, I am on a basic pension at over 80 years,but . I will certainly take Rosie to the vet if she needs it, but if this is a normal thing in cats then I will just keep her warm and see how it goes. I just need some advice. She has been vaccinated and is up to date with that, I just wondered if she could have eaten something that poisoned her. She doesn’t seem ill and is running around playing, but I am no expert. any advice would be welcome. thank you.
