ok yesterday we went to for a walk with my gf and webumped into her friends and we sat with them. i never saw them before ,apparently theylook for remote places and smoke weed and get stoned and god knows what they do to each other. well i just said hi and sat down. the thing is i cant pretend to like being with people i don’t like. does that make me shy and unsociable?

the part that makes you unsociable is “the thing is i cant pretend to like being with people i don’t like.” and yet you just said that you had never met them. so if u were giving off a vibe that you didnt like her friends that can be awkward and it can also showcase u being unsociable, judgmental, and probably a little douchey. and i dont know where u are from but looking for remote places to toke is a pretty common thing to do
1. Don’t touch sensitive areas 2. kiss on the cheek as a starter 3. Give her the option of paying her own way 4. Expensive gifts are a no no! 5. Holding hands is ok. 6. Get her home on time. 7. wet lips and no smoking or chewing tobacco 8. move slowly to avoid getting hurt. 9. Be respectful and courteous 10. Brush your teeth before kissing her.
You’re stand-off-ish-hess was obvious to your gf so it probably was to them also. Have you explained why you acted that way towards them? If she defends their activities you’ll have to decide if this is really the girl for you.
As long as you were polite and diden’t deliberately ignore them or what they said then you’re ok. You just embarassed your gf and she has the right to know why you acted as you did.
