my homecoming dress is super cute, altough its a little short.
I dont want to show my whole school my underwear. So what do i do?
lmaoo. I could possibly add fabric to the bottom of the dress, but i don’t want it to be noticable that i have altered the dress. I only have a week so it has to be fast!
Or i could wear some short black shorts under the dress?!

I would just wear simple, matching panties that cover my bum. In other words, something cute but that won’t show more than they’d see if they went to the beach with you.
Also, you have to be aware of how you move when you wear a dress like that. You’re not supposed to ‘bend over’ when you’re wearing a short dress. If you have to pick something off the floor, crouch down while making sure no one can see up your dress. Wearing high heels makes this move easier to pull off because it helps you angle your knees down. If you move like a lady no one will see anything. 🙂

Trust me (as someone who made the same mistake in buying a cute but not quite modest dress) you need to do something. The LAST thing you want to be worrying about at homecoming is if your dance moves are showing off everything.
Black shorts will work, but then people are still going to be noticing that, yes, your butt is sticking out.
Maybe try getting some lacy or fashionable leggings to go with dress? Now a days you can get them in almost any color, design, length, etc.

If the dress permits, I suggest you let out the hem. You could also wear a matching slip underneath the dress. You can also go to a tailor but that might be a bit expensive.
A. Get a new dress
B. Have it altered, to bring the seam down.
I would only wear it to cover my underwear but it would not be visible, homecoming dress is supposed to be beautiful and extravagant.

i think the black shorts would be fine as long as they are skin tight and would only show if you like opened your legs or whatever. if they’re not really tight they’ll show under the dress and it’ll look weird.
