My mom’s keyboard worked one minute then just quit. I tried unplugging it and replugging it-useless. Help?

I found out it works if you hold the key down for several seconds but it does not work if you just type normally. Please, I’m , I don’t do this stuff! Help!?!?!

  • If you are using Windows, Click on the “Start” button and activate the “Control Panel”. When the Control Panel activates, Click on the “Keyboard” setting and the Keyboard Properties box will open. Using your mouse, move the “Repeat delay” slider towards the “Short” option and “Repeat rate” slider all the way to the “Fast” option. This should fix the the problem providing there is not a hardware error or a virus infection.
