My Sound Recorder, installed already in my laptop, won't work? HELP PLEASE!?

Okay, so my sound recorder, which was all ready installed in my laptop won’t work.

It worked like a few months ago, when I tried, but then I didn’t use it for a while, and I recently tried it, and it won’t work?? It’s not recording NOTHING, not even the background noises, nor my voice. HELP PLEASE?!?~?~?
