Personally, I respect both women and men who make that decision, its a sign of their good self esteem and respect for themselves. It’s typical of your friends to say you won’t be able to do it because they aren’t doing it and so they don’t understand your decision, just ignore them. While there are many qualities in a woman that would affect my decision to marry her, if it came down to a virgin vs a non-virgin I would likely go with the virgin, for the reason I stated before about it being a sign of self-respect and esteem.

I chose to wait until my honeymoon to begin a sexual relationship with my wife. It was simply my choice, and I’m also religious. I wasn’t concerned if my wife was or wasn’t a virgin. It was on our honeymoon when I found out my wife was a virgin. I felt the full weight of the compliment she gave me when she told she was a virgin.
I rather find someone who’s a virgin…but i guess that makes me hypocritical in some sense, since I’m not a virgin.
Frankly, that does not matter to me. What I care about is whether she is capable of love, and truly loves me for who I am. The matter of her sexual history is only of interest to me as to whether she is disease-free.
The lady must also be honest, sane, intelligent, can empathize with others, has a good sense of humor.
Whether or not a woman chooses to exercise her sexuality is entirely up to her.
